Contest Rules
Details:

Design a spooky car in Rocket League and showcase your best trick in one of the eligible arenas.

Eligible arenas include: Drift Woods (Night), Beckwith Park (Midnight), Wasteland (Night), and Farmstead (Night).

Record a video of your trick and car design in action. Videos must be no longer than 45 seconds in length.
Submission Deadline:

All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM EST on October 28th, 2024, through the OSEA website submission form (see below).
Eligibility:
-
The contest is open to middle school and high school students from OSEA member schools only.

Each participant may submit one entry, and submissions must be made through the school’s esports coach.
Video Submission Guidelines:

Video submissions can be screen recordings (preferred) or external recordings of the screen (e.g., using a phone).

No person’s likeness, including face or voice, should be included in the video.
-
Editing in video editing software is not required, and no background music should be added.

Videos must be of good quality (minimum 720p resolution) and in either .avi, .mp4, or .webm format.

Entries must be submitted through the participating school's esports coach, who is responsible for vetting the submission.

All entries must comply with the OSEA Community Guidelines.
Judging Criteria:

Entries will be judged on the following criteria:
-
Creativity: How original and imaginative is the car design and trick?
-
Trick Difficulty: How challenging is the showcased trick?
-
Car Design: How well does the car embody a spooky theme?

Entries will be reviewed and scored by a panel of OSEA team members.
Prizes:
-
Grand Prize: The winner will receive a $100 gift card to a store or online retailer of their choice.

Random Prize: In addition, one $50 gift card "treat" will be awarded randomly to one participant, selected from all eligible entries.
Winner Announcement:

The winner and the random prize recipient will be announced on October 30th, 2024.
Privacy Policy:

OSEA is committed to protecting the privacy of all participants. No student information will be shared publicly.

All data related to the contest will be securely stored and deleted within one week of the winner's announcement.

By submitting an entry, participants agree that OSEA may use the submitted video for promotional purposes, but no personal information will be included in any public content.

Entries that do not adhere to the submission guidelines or exhibit inappropriate behavior, language, or content will be disqualified.
